“We have loved our time spent at Spey River farm. The accommodation is cosy but with plenty of space. The views in general are outstanding but my favourite views were first thing in the morning from the balcony area. Unbeatable! Yisrael, Chi and the children are a beautiful family, friendly helpful and hardworking. We admire their way of life on the farm. To be up close with the highland cows and able to wander the farm with the animal was brilliant, the kids loved it. Overall, a stunning stay, we didn’t want to leave..”

“Amazing Location! Stunning views! and Highland coo's! We visited the farm in December as a group of 6 friends touring the highlands. This was a great stop-off on our route to sky. The accommodation was super warm, spacious and had everything we needed. I also found out the whole farm was "Off-Grid", so well done to Spey river farm and thank you for hosting us!.”

“Our stay at the Rustic Bothy and meet and groom the highland cows experience were among our favorite things during our trip to Scotland! Our family with 2 young children loved the remoteness of the property and enjoyed the stunning views. The space was clean, well equipped, and full of unique spots to play, relax, and enjoy the farm! Our kids said meeting the cows was "the best thing in Scotland" and are still talking about it months later! The family is extremely welcoming and has lots of knowledge to share. I would absolutely recommend!”

“Amazing stay with great hosts! We woke each morning to amazing mountain views and a roaming herd of Highland Coos right outside our door. Took a good hike down to a scenic river while watching the natural waterfall on a nearby cliff. Cafes and restaurants are just a short drive away. We can't wait to make a return visit!”

“We stayed overnight 3 nights at Speyside Farm and also booked the Meet and Greet/ Groom the Highland Cows experience and we are so glad we did! Israel showed us around his beautiful farm with his son and told us about the history of the land, daily farm operations, told us specifics of each of the cows and their unique personalities, and even let us sample some of the farm offerings! It was amazing to get to learn about such majestic animals and you could tell they are treated so well and with respect and dignity. Israel ensured both our safety and enjoyment during the experience and made us feel so welcome. You can tell that this is a farm with much care and attention paid to all the living creatures on it. Even the farm cats were friendly; one was particularly fond of us and managed to sneak into our room to snuggle with us in the morning (we were sad when we eventually had to leave for the day and usher the cat out). The studio that we booked was the perfect size and was equipped with a stove, sink, kettle, and pots and pans so we could make our own breakfast and dinner every day. We took advantage of the farm's location to enjoy some beautiful hikes nearby. Our whole stay was fabulous and we were so happy to spend part of our honeymoon here.
